NBC has rebooted The New Celebrity Apprentice, now that the show's former host, Donald Trump, is the current president-elect. In place of Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken over the boardroom chair, along with a brand new cast of celebrities waiting to be fired or hired.

The New Celebrity Apprentice premiere date

You can watch some of your favorite celebrities tackle their new boss in just a few days. The new season of The New Celebrity Apprentice premieres on Monday, Jan. 2, at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

In The New Celebrity Apprentice, a cast of 16 celebrities compete on behalf of some of their favorite Los Angeles charities. Schwarzenegger, the former Terminator star and twice-elected California governor, is the boss this time around.

What we know about the new season

The cast of celebrities this year includes Real Housewives, a RuPaul's Drag Race judge, one of the members of Wilson Philips and a few music icons, too. Competing for the grand prize this season is Brooke Burke-Charvet, Carnie Wilson, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Chael Sonnen, Boy George, Eric Dickerson, Jon Lovitz, Kyle Richards, Laila Ali, Lisa Leslie, Matt Iseman, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams and Vince Neil.

This year, the show has moved to Los Angeles. The celebrities have their work cut out for them as they compete in business-like tasks while seeing if they have the ability to work in teams.

Next to Schwarzenegger, the boardroom will feature a revolving door of business leaders such as Warren Buffett, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Tyra Banks, Jessica Alba and more.

The celebrity who manages to not get fired this season and takes the title will receive a $250,000 check for their charity.
