This year's film nominees were officially announced on Dec. 1, and the television nominees were announced in November. "This year's nominees showcase the best that Hollywood has to offer, spanning a wide array of genres, subject matters, time periods, and more," said Broadcast Film Critics Association President Joey Berlin said
