Golden Globes 2017 Red Carpet Livestream: When and where to watch the best dressed celebs

Culture

The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on NBC Sunday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. Eastern. While the annual awards ceremony honors some of the best in American film and television, it also has a reputation in the fashion world for setting trends. The time to catch sight of designer creations is of course on the red carpet.

WWD has already made its fashion speculations for the show, casting Emma Stone, Ruth Negga, Jessica Chastain and a short list of other stars who are bold in their fashion choices. This year's red carpet fashion choices may be more unpredictable than ever.

"The red carpet has gone through several stages, first, where looks were all over the place, then, where they are all the same," stylist Jeanne Yang told WWD. "Actresses were criticized for hiring stylists. Now we are at that point where personalities have got to come through. There are a lot of new young designers and I think there are a lot of actors who are emboldened to do something new. Why not take advantage of a situation where you can get great coverage?"

Of course, the only way to devour the full fashion spectacle is to watch it from beginning to end.
