Miss Universe 2017: Start time, channel and how to vote for your favorite contestant
In December 2015, Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe. Now, it's almost time to pass on her title. The last competition made headlines after host Steve Harvey initially mixed up the winners of the sash and crown. But that's all forgiven and he will return as the host of the Miss Universe competition, which will air live on Sunday, Jan. 29, on Fox at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Musical guests for the evening include veteran R&B group Boyz II Men and rapper Flo Rida. This year's host city is Manila, Philippines. Model Ashley Graham will be taking over backstage correspondent duties.
How to vote in the competition
Eighty-six women representing countries from all over the world are vying to be Miss Universe this year. You can help your favorite contestant get closer to the crown by voting them into the top 12 on the competition's website. To cast your ballot, you must sign up for an account. Voting ends Jan. 28.
