Master of None is returning to Netflix for season two, and this time it's going abroad.

The second season of the hit romantic comedy from Aziz Ansari picks up where season one left off. Dev, played by Ansari, has taken a trip to Italy for his own Eat, Pray, Love adventure and rediscovers who he is.

Dev has moved to Italy and is having the time of his life. He reconnects with himself, discovers the food and passion of the country and, eventually, returns home to New York. This season of the show will tackle Dev's family life, career, friendships and a personal relationship that could change it all for him.

Release time

Fans of Master of None can expect Netflix to release season two on Friday, May 12 at 3 a.m. Eastern.

Early reviews of the second season are praising the show for being just as hilarious and heartfelt as expected. But, warning to viewers, do not watch it on an empty stomach — the trip to Italy will make you hungry.
