Tomi Lahren — who was fired from TheBlaze — tried to lecture "snowflakes" on holding jobs

Impact

Two months after being fired, former conservative pundit Tomi Lahren seemingly has no problem lecturing liberal "snowflakes" on job security.

After a group of Notre Dame students filed out of their school's graduation ceremony in response to Vice President Mike Pence taking the lectern as commencement speaker, Lahren blasted the move via her Twitter account.

"Snowflakes think this kind of crap will fly in the real world? Good luck holding a job, kids!" she wrote on Sunday.

The irony of Lahren — who was summarily dismissed from her position at TheBlaze after voicing her opinions on women's reproductive rights during a March taping of The View  moralizing on job security was, it seemed, lost on her.

Not so for other Twitter users, however, who quickly blasted the hypocrisy:

The protest against Pence's speech at Notre Dame was led by student activist group We Stand For. The group's organizer, Luis Miranda, told Mic in a prior interview that the walkout was emblematic of the school's values.

"For us, there's nothing that could be more in the spirit of the university and the university mission than to stand up for human dignity and the most vulnerable among us," Miranda said.

"To have somebody who has been working actively against our humanity, for being who we are, to be speaking to our class, addressing our class and being conferred with a degree is just unacceptable."
