Trevor Noah has been stopped "eight to ten" times during the six years he's lived in the United States, the Daily Show host told his audience between scenes of Tuesday's show.

"I shit you not, I have been stopped by police maybe, I would say going on at least eight to ten times by police, which always blows white peoples' minds," Noah said. "I've been stopped a shit ton of times. I've been stopped in rental cars, I've been stopped in my car, I've been stopped in a car with tinted windows, a car with rims, a car with no rims — I was stopped in a Tesla, people."

"I don't know what silent crime you think I'm on my way to commit," Noah said.

Noah was talking to the audience about the 2016 killing of Philando Castile. On Friday, Officer Jeronimo Yanez was found not guilty of second-degree manslaughter for fatally shooting Castile. Noah discussed the verdict on his show Monday, asking, "How does a black person not get shot in America?"

"The bar is always moving," Noah said Monday. "The goal posts are always shifting. There's always a different thing that explains why a person got shot."

In his remarks Tuesday, Noah again took on the shifting excuses used to justify the police killings of black people in America, and told the audience that he throws his arms out the window whenever he gets pulled over to show police his hands.

"I would rather have the cop go, 'You are weird,'" Noah said, adding that he's "just accepted" that he will be stopped by police.

Noah said that there needs to be a conversation about "state racism" stemming from the police force as a whole, and promised to keep speaking out on the issue.
