Emmy Nominations 2017: An updated list of nominees for the 69th awards show
The 2017 Emmy Awards are poised to have some of the tightest races in recent memory. Game of Thrones, an Emmys lock since 2010, has missed this year’s eligibility, opening the door for a new frontrunner in the drama categories. We’ve been spoiled with excellent comedies all year round. HBO’s miniseries Big Little Lies was so good, there’s talk of a second season (which, we stress, is a terrible idea).
It truly is a great time for TV lovers. At 11:30 a.m. Eastern, the nominees for a handful of Emmy categories will be announced via livestream on the Television Academy’s website by Veep star Anna Chlumsky and Criminal Minds alum Shemar Moore, while the rest of the nominations will be available on the award show’s website following the presentation.
Below are the nominations for the biggest Emmy categories. The full Emmys list is available on the award show’s website.
