Florida Election Results LIVE: Romney Holds a 6 Point Lead Over Obama

Florida one of the most important states in the electoral college. With 29 electoral votes, the state of Florida ranks thrid, tied with New York, as possibly the most imptant states in the 2012 election. Only California, 55 electoral votes, and Texas, 38 electoral votes, carry more weight nationally.

However, unlike California and Texas, Florida is a swing state. Currently, Romney holds a 6 point lead in one of the most crucial swing states in the 2012 election. Stay tuned for real time updates as we move closer to Tuesday.
