Am I Registered to Vote: Where to Vote in Georgia, Poll Locations, and ID Requirements
I know the weather is horrible but make sure you get out there to vote. Voting in Georgia is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and if you are in line at 7 p.m. you are allowed to cast your ballot. Keep in mind that the Georgia Secretary of State reports that historically, the peak voting hours are from 7-9:30 a.m., 4:30 -7:00 p.m. and the lunch hour, so if you are voting during those times be prepared for a longer wait.
ID Requirements – Georgia does require a government issued ID that has a picture, however, if you show up without proper ID, you can get a provisional ballot but you must provide identification within three days for the vote to count.
Polling Locations – You can find your polling location via the My Voter Page – Georgia Secretary of State.
