Statement from the Georgia Young Republicans

Impact

Georgia's unemployment rate is 10.2%, a full point above the national average. Young citizens in our state need a government “program” that removes the barriers to job growth. Lower taxes mean more capital in the hands of entrepreneurs, more capital means expansion, and expansion means companies need workers. It is a simple equation that Democrats have failed to understand, and Republicans have been trying to teach them.

Individuals and private businesses create the jobs we need in Georgia. Republicans have real plans to remove the impediments to job growth in Georgia and America. Any attempts to blame business and capitalism for the economic ills we are in are empty, meaningless rhetoric – especially coming from a South Chicago community organizer who has never created a job in his life or administration.
