Hillary Clinton's Opening Statement At the Benghazi Hearing

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's makes her opening statement about the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

She's outlining the State Department's initial response to Benghazi and briefly going over the timeline about what happened. Clinton notes that the attack in Benghazi came at at time when they were "seeing violent attacks in Cairo...and many other posts where thousands of our diplomats serve," said Clinton. 

She said that she immediately ordered a security assessment for the most high-risk outposts around the world and simultaneously set up the Accountability Review Board to find out what happened in Benghazi.
