Adairsville Tornado Damage: 2 Killed By Severe Southeast Storms

Two people are reported dead after this morning's sweep of storms across the Southeast. At lease one person was killed during the tornado in Adairsville, Ga. A local fire chief said the body was found in storm damage but no further details were available. 

Reports are indicating that people are trapped in homes and businesses, television footage is also showing that a large section of a manufacturing plant was badly damaged. 

The second death occurred in Nashville, Tenn., where a man seeking shelter in a shed was crushed by a falling tree. 

The last reported death by a tornado in the U.S. occurred on June 24.
