The mayor of Wilmington, Delaware, said a man suspected of killing his wife and wounding two others at the New Castle County Courthouse is dead.

Mayor Dennis Williams said told NDTV during a Monday telephone interview that the shooter was killed by police. Williams added the man shot and killed his wife and wounded two other people about. The couple were reportedly "estranged."

Cpl. Jamaine Crawford, a Wilmington police spokesman, said a total of three people were shot — and that the victims were two women and a man, described as a "security person."
