Christopher Dorner, the former LAPD officer on the run for the fatal shooting of three, might have escaped to Mexico — reported the LA Times.
California authorities reportedly developed "probable cause" that 33-year-old Dorner was "possibly trying to escape to Mexico," helped by an associate identified as "JY."
Dorner allegedly attempted to steal a boat in San Diego, California, with the intention to take it to Mexico.
"The attempt failed when the bow line of the boat became caught in the boat's propeller, and the suspect fled," according to the affidavit by Inspector U.S. Marshal Craig McClusky.
