State of the Union Tea Party Response

Impact

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) will deliver the Tea Party's third response to a President Barack Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday — reported The Courier Journal. Paul is considered a leader in the tea party movement as well as a potential presidential candidate in 2016. Paul's will also be the second response of the night, as Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) will be in charge of delivering the GOP's official response — both in English and Spanish. "I think really there are some things that I will emphasize maybe Marco doesn't," Paul told CNN Sunday on State of the Union with Candy Crowley. "[It] doesn't mean that we necessarily disagree," he quickly added.
