"Rubble of Crisis Cleared Away" says Obama

Obama is proposing that we get back to being a "rising, thriving middle class." This is something we've heard from Obama time and again, the real question is how we're going to do it. With 77 percent of Americans feeling that political games are doing serious harm to our country, the real focus needs to be on restoring faith in the institutions that we have built. Since budget cuts will go into effect this year, it's all the more imperative that we do something now.

"We can't just cut our way to prosperity," he said. I agree, but what is he proposing?

His favorite subjects to write about include education, entrepreneurship, social parity, the far east, law and civil rights. Alex believes that the right answers and best answers are not always the most appealing, but tends to be an optimist in most of what he does.
