Oscars Predictions 2013: Daniel Day Lewis Will Win Best Actor

My winner: Daniel Day-Lewis, Lincoln

C'mon, this is easy, you guys. DDL made Honest Abe seem so real — so brilliant, so intense, so politically conniving, and so believably uninteresting. Heh. 

Their winner: Daniel Day-Lewis, Lincoln

The real question here is does DDL realize he's not actually Abraham Lincoln or an oil man? Maybe he thinks he's the oil man who redeemed himself by turning into a beloved actor who nobly took on the role of America's greatest American, Abraham Lincoln.
