There are nine nominees for Best Picture this year, and each has an equal shot at winning. At least that's what we'd like to believe. The fact is, there are maybe three movies on the list with a chance, and "LIFE OF PI" isn't one of them.

"PI", a special-effects laden children's fantasy, is basically the exact opposite of the kind of film the Academy traditionally rewards. Not only that, it was decent but nothing to write home about. If you're a gambler, you'd do well to bet against this one.
