Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: Together Again?

Impact

Speculations of a rekindled romance between Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren reignited over the weekend when the formerly estranged couple was spotted chatting and “appearing to enjoy each others’ company” at an event for a local youth sports organization in Jupiter, Fla.

It’s been over three years since the pair was photographed together. Who can forget the infamous Woods post-Thanksgiving crash that spiraled into revelations of his out-of-control cheating and seemingly countless number of mistresses?

Woods and Nordegren divorced quite publicly and bitterly after nearly six years of marriage in 2010. Nordegren won a $110 million divorce settlement from the athlete.

Apparently, time can heal all wounds and mend a broken heart.

According to TMZ, the celebrated golfer, 37, arrived first with daughter Sam, 5, and son Charlie, 4. The former model arrived about an hour later and joined Woods and their children for a stroll. TMZ reported that the couple spoke amicably for about 30 minutes before taking off together in Nordegren’s car once the pair started to be noticed and photographed.

It was believed that Woods has moved on romantically and been dating Olympic skier, Lindsey Vonn, 28, for several months, even sending his private jet to pick up Vonn from Austria after she suffered a serious injury.

Since the split, Nordegren has been romantically linked to financial expert Jamie Dingman and more recently to Swedish hockey player Douglas Murray.

The Huffington Post reported last month that Woods refused to comment when asked about speculations regarding a possible reconciliation with Nordegren.

“I am not going to comment on my private life,” Woods said to reporters at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship held last month.

The National Enquirer also published a story last month claiming that the shamed golfer proposed to Nordegren over the holidays. According to the Enquirer, Woods, desperate to reunite with his ex-wife, even offered a $200 million pre-nup to help sweeten the deal. She is reportedly considering the offer, but only if he adds a $350 million anti-cheating clause into the mix.

"Tiger didn't even balk at the demand. Even though his accountants think he's crazy, he's ready to sign the pre-nup and set a wedding date,” an unnamed source reportedly told the Enquirer.

It appears wedding bells may ring again for the divorced couple before the year is up.
