The amazing thing about Rand Paul's filibuster today is that it's been entirely on the point of due process and drone strikes. Granted, it has been repetitive, but how could it not be? As a senator, Paul may speak as long as he can stand and talk. However, he can talk about literally anything. If Paul wanted to read the Washington, D.C. yellow pages, he could do it. If he wanted to read Green Eggs and Ham, he could do it. If he wanted to read the 8 Funniest Yelp Reviews of 2012, he could do it. And none of it matters, so long as he stands and talks.
Is the U.S. Senate great or what?
