'The Bachelor' 2013: Sean Lowe's Family Fawns Over Lindsay Yenter in Finale

Culture

Lindsay Yenter seemed to get along swimmingly with Sean Lowe's family during the finale of The Bachelor.

Lowe's dad, ever the sweet father figure, was the first to speak to Yenter, who said she "wants to hang out with [Sean] for the rest [of her] life." If that's not life, I don't know what is. Lowe's dad and Lindsay laughed a lot, but quite honestly, she wasn't seriously articulate or coherent in conversation. Neither was Giudici, and I can't really blame the girls for being nervous and scared of saying the wrong thing. I know I'd be stumbling over every single word.

Yenter also asked Lowe's dad for Sean's hand in marriage...I wasn't too sure how I felt about that, but let's give her props for the brave move. Sean's dad did seem to like Giudici more, but overall the family interviews came across as more relaxed for Yenter, who exudes a ton of energy, enthusiasm, and warmth. Lowe's mom seemed a bit more open toward Yenter than toward Giudici, so maybe Sean factored that into his choice. Sean's mom said Yenter is "open with her heart" and the two hugged, so we know who the mother's favorite is.

Bottom line: They all love Lindsay Yenter.

I don't know about you, but watching these family interviews made me so glad I don't have a boyfriend. I'm not ready for the third degree! Props to both ladies for surviving the tough talks!
