First Half is in the Books for Michigan State and Valparaiso

Culture

With everyone in their starting five scoring at least five points, three seeded Michigan State leads the fourteenth seeded Valparaiso Crusaders 35-18 from Auburn Hills, Michigan.  Derrick Nix leads all scorers with 9 on 4-6 shooting from the field, but the real difference between the two teams is on the glass.  The Spartans hold a 22-12 advantage on the glass including an 8-2 advantage on the offensive glass.  Valpo is shooting only 3-13 from three.

I have Michigan State in the Elite Eight in one bracket and winning it all in the other, so a loss here would be horrible; however, if they can keep up this momentum from the second half of the first half, they look ready for this game.
