Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects: Names and Nationalities of Suspects Revealed

The names and backgrounds of the primary suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing have been revealed. Reports from the Associated Press, MSNBC, and NBC News' Pete Williams have said that the two men are brothers and from the region of Chechnya. They were staying in the United States as legal residents. The have been in the United States for at least a year, possibly longer and neither of them were students. The surviving at-large bombing suspect has been identified as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass. The deceased suspect's name has not been revealed yet.

 

 

This is a very unusual development in the case. Chechen terrorism is more associated with  terrorist actions in Russia due to Russia's foreign policy with regards the Chechnya then with anti-American sentiment.
