Boston Manhunt: Senator Graham Issues Veiled Call For Torture Of Boston Suspect

Impact

As the manhunt to find alleged Boston bomber Dzhokar Tsarnaev continues, politicians are busy thumping their chests and sticking their feet directly into their mouths.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) tweeted that he hopes the Obama administration conducts some real "intelligence gathering" by ignoring constitutional protections to do so.

Translation? I hope we torture the hell out of this guy. Keep it classy, Senator.

Flashback: Back in 2009, Graham defended the use of torture, saying that "one of the reasons these techniques have survived for about 500 years is apparently they work."

Now, it would appear that Senator Graham wants these techniques to be deployed on the surviving Tsarnaev.
