David Ortiz F-Bomb: Big Papi Tells Emotional Fenway Crowd, "This is Our Fucking City"

David Ortiz returned to the lineup on Saturday from a heel injury in defiant fashion, as he gave a pregame speech to the Fenway crowd during a commemoration of the victims of Monday's bombing at the Boston Marathon. After an emotional pre-game ceremony that honored the victims, as well as the first responders and other heroes, Ortiz took to the microphone on live television. This is what transpired:

“This jersey that we wear today, it doesn’t say Red Sox, it says Boston. We want to thank you, Mayor Menino, Governor Patrick, the whole police department for the great job they did this past week.

“This is our fucking city! And nobody going to dictate our freedom. Stay strong.”

After the game, Julius Genachowski, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, tweeted this:

It would appear the FCC isn't about to dole out any fines related to Ortiz's speech.
