A clear favorite at 5-1, jockey Calvin Borel hope to ride Revolutionary to a win in the derby. We will see how he deals with other favorites such as Orb in this must watch race.

Palace Malice

Palace Malice has come in second, seventh, and third in his last three races and his odds of 22-1 reflect that. But his second place finish at the Bluegrass Stakes he was just overtaken at the line by fellow competitor Java’s War. Ridden by Mike Smith, Smith won the Kentucky Oaks on Friday riding Princess of Sylmar to the second biggest upset in Oaks history. Smith should come into this race with a vigor that may lead to an upset.

Palace Malice has a twitter feed.

Charming Kitten

Ridden by Edgar Prado, Charming Kitten has 30-1 odds for those who are daring in their gambling. This Kentucky Derby is Charming Kitten’s first race on dirt instead of grass and is has observers concerned if his past successes will not translate to the Derby.

At 36-1 odds, jockey Luis Saez will have quite hill to overcome on Falling Sky to place. But upsets have happened and you should not count out any horse until the race is over.

35-1 odds are not the best but jockey Jose Espinoza is not going to just lay down and die. Giant Finish hope to get a giant finish in this year’s Kentucky Derby.
