Obama also highlighted efforts by the community of Joplin, Missouri to help those affected by the tornado in Moore. Joplin City Manager Mark Rohr has said that they are sending a team of public safety officials to Moore, after having already sent about a dozen police and firefighters on Monday to assist local authorities.
