Los Angeles 2013 Election Results: And The Polls Have Closed!

The polls have closed in the 2013 Los Angeles mayoral race. Either City Council President Eric Garcetti or City Controller Wendy Greuel will emerge the winner after all the votes are counted. Garcetti is the frontrunner but an upset by Greuel is certainly possibly in this exciting low turnout election.

Also up for vote are several propositions, the most notable being Proposition C, a protest against the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, and Proposition D, the most well known of several measure on the ballot relating to regulating and taxing medical marijuana.
