Guantanamo Bay Hunger Strikes: Obama Heckled

President Obama was interrupted by a woman in the audience when he was detailing his new guidelines to close Guantanamo Bay. She yelled from the audience claiming that President Obama is responsible for the detainees and demanded he take action to release them immediately.

President Obama allowed her to finish and acknowledged that even though the two of them don't agree the detention of the prisoners is important and her voice is significant.

He summarized that the way we treat our detainees is a testament to what America stands for, and that a citizen shouting her concerns to the President is both "our sword and our shield."

Also, President Obama sure spun that heckling like the boss he is.
