The Only Anthony Weiner Interview You Will Actually Enjoy Watching
Do you ever look at Anthony Weiner and get the urge to psychoanalyze him? Well Laurence O'Donnell had a burning desire to do so, and he just decided to run with it on live television. In the words of Buzzfeed's Andrew Kaczynski it truly was "too amazing for words."
After challenging Weiner to a prolonged interview available exclusively online, the candidate grinned and appeared to be getting ready to walk out...until he stayed and decided to end this interview with a bang.
For any other politician, this kind of disparaging roast would have been uncalled for. In the case of Weiner however, a person who he has outright lied to journalists, insulted reporters and strategically used the media to create a false redemption narrative in order to cater to voters, it's unsurprising that he's not being well-received by the very people he's manipulated for his own benefit.
