Navy Yard Shooting: Police Briefing LIVE, Two Potential Shooters At Large

Washington DC metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier is giving a press conference around 12.05pm on Monday to issue statements about Monday's shooting at the Navy Yard. She will be joined by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor. She has dismissed rumours of a second shooting at Air Force Base Bolling. The AP has reported at least 6 have died.

"Right now we have one MPD officer who has been shot, we have one shooter that is deceased," Lanier said. She said there are "multiple victims inside that are deceased," but cannot confirm numbers. Lanier says there are potentially "two other shooters" who may at large, although nothing is confirm. One a "white male, last seen around 8:35 in a Khaki tan military uniform with a beret hat," another a "black male, approximately 50 years of age, wearing an olive drab colored shirt holding a long gun."
