What Time Are the Emmy Awards On?

The 65th annual primetime Emmy Awards begin tonight (Sunday the 22nd) at 8 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Nokia Theatre in downtown LA and televised on CBS. 

For everyone looking for early Emmys coverage the live red carpet coverage will begin at 6 p.m. 

The show will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris who, if his Tonys hosting was a good preview, will be phenomenal. Harris said of his hosting gig, "I couldn't be more honored and excited to be hosting this year's Emmy Awards. And what perfect timing — I'll just do the exact same script I'm about to use for the Tonys. 'And the Emmy for best revival of a musical goes to "Breaking Bad"!' See, told you it works."
