Millennials Need to Inform Themselves So That We Can Affect Change

Before we have the conversation about what to change and how to change it, we need to inform ourselves as to what the ACA actually does, and what the pros and cons are to the key components of the law.

78 million Americans might be critical of the law, but a Kaiser Family Foundation poll in April this year showed that 4 out of 10 Americans don't even know if the ACA is a law or not.

Educating people on the full text of the law is an almost impossible task, due to the fact that the ACA is over 900 pages with some extremely technical tax-related provisions included. However, the administration and other could be doing a MUCH better job of breaking the law down so that people are not misinformed. This is the first step towards health reform in our country that never happened successfully after the ACA was passed.

There needs to be a website that breaks down the law, so that the average American can actually understand what is in it, what it does, and how it will affect them directly.
