Golden Globes Winners 2014: Best Actress Goes to Cate Blanchett

Really, incredibly strong nominees in the Best Actress category but the award goes very deservedly to Cate Blanchett for her role in Blue Jasmine. Blanchett is a heavy favorite for the Oscar, already, and odds are she will be winning. 

The nominees in the Best Actress category tonight were: 

Sandra Bullock, Gravity

Woody Allen, Blue Jasmine director, was also honored earlier in the evening with the Golden Globe's lifetime achievement award.
