Anders makes no distinction between high- or low-art, surreal or classical. His cinema tastes range widely even if his current work is on a dissertation on the influence of the European "art cinema" on notions of subjectivity, internal states of consciousness or memory. Before beginning his PhD, he and his wife spent two years teaching at an international school in Thailand. Now located in Waterloo, ON, Canada, Anders lives with his wife and their toddler. When he's not watching movies he enjoys NHL hockey, religious debates, and single malt Scotch. He and his two brothers write about movies at 3brothersfilm.com.
