Carolyn Menyes is an associate commerce editor at BDG, working with writers across Bustle, Elite Daily, Mic, Inverse, and all other BDG sites to create shopping content.

Previously, Carolyn was a senior editor at the Tribune Content Agency focusing on food, travel, home, health, and other lifestyle topics. She’s also an experienced journalist with a history of writing about pop culture, music, and theme park travel. Her byline has appeared on MSN, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, Billboard, Fuse, and more. She graduated with a bachelors degree in magazine journalism from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.

When not writing or editing, Carolyn lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and her cat. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, watching ridiculous television, and planning endless trips to Disney World.
