I realized in high school I'd never be an A-list actor (I know, heartbreaking). Then I realized if I couldn't join 'em, I could write about 'em. My interests expanded beyond tawdry celebrity stories while attaining my degree at Quinnipiac University and working for a couple celebrity gossip media outlets. My passion is for the work and what goes into the process of telling great stories on screens both small and large. My other reporting interests include education in America (both of my parents are educators) and sports, specifically their impact on America's youth (read Tom Farrey's "Game On: The All-American Race to Make Champions of Our Children" and you'll see what I mean).
