Jonathan graduated from Amherst College in 2009, where he majored in musicology and was also pre-med. He has spent time studying musicology in Oxford and Liverpool, and after college, he spent a year teaching Eighth Grade Humanities at The East Harlem School. He is currently a first-year medical student at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
