At the age of 18 as an ambitious young man from the East Side of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lawrence set out to become a computer engineer, but that never really panned out. Since then, he's delivered countless pizzas, stocked a wide variety of store shelves, manned a technical support helpline, dropped out of the University of Illinois, and mastered the intricacies of Hegelian philosophy, only to wind up living in Baltimore and reluctantly commuting down to DC for various odd jobs. Lawrence likes to spend his free time discussing the different conceptions of teleology in the Abrahamic religions with Zachary Foster.
