Miraisy graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, with an M.A. in Communications. She has worked in the public interest sector as a two-time Florida Bar Foundation Fellow and as a teacher with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. She's currently a fellow with Univision Investiga.
