Samir Kapadia is Policy Analyst at VogelHood, a Washington D.C. based consultancy to Wall Street. Previously, Samir managed content strategy at Gerson Lehrman Group, a leading investment research firm in New York. Responsible for developing investable ideas in the retail, food and beverage, lodging and leisure, and automotive sectors, Samir regularly dialogued with the hedge fund, private equity and investment bank community to identify market-moving trends. Prior to New York, Samir spent time in Mumbai, India, writing on energy and international finance. As a Researcher at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, Samir engaged with policy leaders and business professionals to identify growth markets in India. Samir started his career in Washington, spending two years at The Heritage Foundation, a leading conservative think tank where he reported directly to the Vice President of Government Relations. Samir covered the policymaking process in the House of Representatives, Senate and The White House. His previous Hill experience includes internships in both the House and Senate.
