Sara Brown-Rigoli is a freelance copywriter out of Orange County, CA. She is currently working as a Women’s Lifestyle Commerce Writer at BDG in a part-time capacity. Before joining the BDG team, a lot of her freelance copywriting work has entailed writing blogs, product descriptions, web content, and email campaigns to name a few.

In college, Sara was an active staff member of her college newspaper, The Wooster Voice. She worked as a staff writer all four years during undergrad, and took on an editor role her junior and senior year. She earned her B.A. in English from the College of Wooster and an M.A. in Teaching from Western Oregon University.

Past companies Sara wrote product descriptions for include Rush Cycle, 40 Tons, AWear, The Sweat Society and more. The products ranged from athletic apparel and fitness classes to sustainable fashion and cannabis lifestyle brands and advocacy.

During her down time, Sara spends a lot of time with her husband and their 5 dogs and 2 cats. They volunteer a lot of their free time to work with and help a local animal rescue. She is also an avid spinner and loves a good workout class. While writing, you can probably catch her with a cold brew in hand.
