In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan on Facebook Live, Tatum was asked to dish on his sex life with wife Jenna Dewan Tatum. His response was both candid and elaborate. "It's something that enriches your life," he said. "It's one of the clearest ways that we communicate. It boils things down to a very primal level."
True. We're all basically Bonobos at heart.
Tatum added that — unlike the Bonobos, who are known to use sex as a way to resolve conflict — he and his wife never do it when they're in the midst of a disagreement.
"We have to sort of solve whatever's in between us energetically before we can really, I guess, 'get down,'" he said. "For lack of a better term, we don't hate-fuck each other. That's just not what we do."
More information on the couple's sex life, including details on variety, timing and connectivity-level:
We have truly all different kinds of sex. Sometimes it's like, 'Look, you got to get this done, I got to go to work,' and that's a real thing. To me, that's us being completely open and being like, 'Look, I don't have the energy for this right now. You just get yours and I gotta go to work.' But then we have full-on, just completely, totally connected otherworldly connection sex as well. So I think we do a lot.
Nothing like a midday quickie to help get a busy married couple through the workday! "Otherworldly connection sex" sounds like fun as well. Any kind of sex with Channing Tatum sounds like fun, really.
Tatum's appreciation of mindful sex is particularly refreshing when you consider rumors that certain other Hollywood hunks — cough, LEONARDO DICAPRIO, cough — are so lazy in bed that they can't even be bothered to put the vape pen down and take their headphones off. Lol. When it comes to male celebrity sex practices, we're totally #TeamTatum!
