Frank Ocean's long-anticipated sophomore album is expected to drop Friday as an Apple Music exclusive, according to the New York Times. The album, presumably titled Boys Don't Cry, is the artist's first since the 2012 release of his highly-acclaimed Channel Orange.

According to the Times, the album will stream on Apple Music for two weeks before it becomes available elsewhere.

Earlier Monday, Ocean's website, boysdontcry.co, boasted an Apple livestream, supposedly the first clue that the album's release was near. The mystery livestream featured little more than a room with some tables and equipment set to some obscure background noise.

Frank Ocean won't be the first major artist to have an album stream exclusively on Apple Music first. Drake, Chance the Rapper and The 1975 have each had albums drop through the streaming service before anywhere else.
