The March for Science got underway in Washington, D.C., as well as across the nation and around the world Saturday. Thousands of protesters, in about 500 cities worldwide, were expected to turn out to celebrate science and protest President Donald Trump, a climate-change denier who recently reversed Obama-era environmental initiatives and installed an anti-Environmental Protection Agency crusader, Scott Pruitt, as head of the EPA — among other anti-science measures
