President Obama is coming out strong for action to avoid the deep spending cuts that will come into effect on March 1 if sequestration is not addressed.  Keeping in mind that cuts to research for cancer and Alzheimer's will be hit if the sequester is not dealt with in DC.

 

He quickly moved on to address climate change, causing a flurry among progressives on social media sites.  And again, VP Biden could not hold back his smirk and gave Obama a standing ovation; Speaker Boehner stayed sitting without a clap.
