Navy Yard Shooting Photos

Police and other emergency personnel have arrived in the Navy Yard area in Southeast Washington, DC in response to a reported shooting. Shots were fired at around 8:20 a.m. at the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building. Details regarding reported injuries and fatalities remain unconfirmed as the situation unfolds, although some reports have reported as many of four fatalities occurred on the scene. Several area schools have gone on precautionary lockdown, while Washington's Reagan National Airport reopened as of 10am.
