James Allen is VP of Communications & Strategy at Mic. Most recently, James worked as Director of Communications to Senator Cory Booker during his final year as mayor of Newark. He also served as Campaign Manager for Congressman John Carney. Previously, James worked on President Obama's 2008 campaign and in the office of Senator Hillary Clinton. He loves hoops, hip-hop, and hard copy newspapers.
